Dorothy Louise Swim Van Corbach, age 79, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, Octoberr 11, 2007, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born July 15, 1928, at Bluestone, Kentucky, in Rowan County and was the daughter of the late William and Minnie Sands Swim. Survivors include her husband, William B. Van Corbach; one son, Robert Van Corbach of Norman, Oklahoma; and one granddaughter, Meredith Van Corbach. Dorothy was a graduate of Farmers Elementary School and Morehead High School, where she was a cheerleader. She also attended Morehead State University. She was a homemaker and had been a General Telephone operator and an antique dealer. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leo Williams, Ben Williams, Aaron Whitt, Mathew Dickens and Greg Whitt.
