Dorothy Marie Nester Debord, age 96, of Big Brushy Road, Morehead, went to be with her Lord after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ivan Lee Debord, in 2001; her parents, William and Rosa Conn Nester; and son-in-law, Kenny Jones. Dorothy was born in Russell, KY, on September 29, 1922, and lived most of her life on her farm on Big Brushy. Survivors include her children, Margaret Jones, Hurshel and Pat Debord, Ernest and Susan Debord, Ronald and Connie Debord, William and Mary Ann Debord, and Richard and Laura Debord. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with William Debord officiating. Interment beside her husband will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
