Dorothy Perry McKinney, age 73, of Barber Road, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, at her residence. Born April 14, 1944, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Alice Hampton Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Zona Perry. She is survived by her husband, Gerald McKinney; one daughter, Lora Lynn Tinsley of Clearfield; one grandson, Damion Dylan Tinsley of Clearfield; five brothers, Henry Perry of Lenox, Michigan, Victor Perry, Paul Perry, Oliver Perry, and Arlie Perry, all of Morehead; one sister, Geraldine Perry of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a homemaker and had been a babysitter for a number of families. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Jim Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Perry Family Cemetery.
