Dorothy Casey Justice, age 72, of Justice Lane, West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at the Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty, KY. Born September 3, 1940, in Pike County, KY, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Troy and Vicie Thorpe Casey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Miles Casey, Billy Harold Casey, and Charles Edward Casey, and three sisters, Molly Casey, Darlene Casey, and Gladys Casey. Her husband of 55 years, Willie Justice, whom she wed December 21, 1957, preceded her in death on March 31, 2013. Dorothy is survived by five daughters, Beverly Butcher and husband Scott of Ashland, KY, Lois Cook and husband Lowell of West Liberty, KY, Brenda Dotson and husband Terry of West Liberty, KY, Darlene Stump and husband Don of Winchester, KY, and Apryl Justice of West Liberty, KY; 12 grandchildren, Alexis and MaCaila Blankenship, Amy and Michael Dotson, Randy Jackson, Brittinee, Skyler, and Tommy Stump, Ellie and Emily Cook, Josie and Joseph Butcher; 9 great grandchildren, Cali Blythe, Desirae Crowder, Corey Dotson, Takara Brook Johnson, Landon, Brison, and Mya Jackson, Bella Ginter, and Carson Hill. Other survivors include four sisters, Betty Smith of Blackberry, KY, Barbara Kender of Smith Fork, KY, Virginia Childress of VA, and Mable Anderson of Meta, KY; three brothers, Ralph Casey of South Williamson, KY, Shorty Casey of Phelps, KY, and Marvin Casey of Smith Fork, KY; many nieces and nephews; extended family members and friends. Dorothy was a loving and precious wife, mother and grandmother, a devoted homemaker, and a dedicated member of Charity Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Charity Freewill Baptist Church, 7075 KY Hwy 519, Morehead, KY, with Pastor Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice Cemetery in West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Lowell Cook, Donald Stump, Scott Butcher, Terry Dotson, Randy Jackson, and Michael Dotson. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013, at the Charity Freewill Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
