Dorothy Fay Brown Dickinson, age82, of Brown Ridge, Morehead, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014, at her residence. She was born May 7, 1932, in Dew Drop, Kentucky, to the late Melvin and Inez McGuire Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Bobby Dickinson. Her husband, William 'Pete' Dickinson, passed away on January 6, 1996. She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Pennington and husband Randy of Morehead; two sons, William Robert Dickinson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and David Timothy Dickinson of San Francisco, California; and four grandchildren, Randolph Pennington, Jr., Tonya Pennington, Tina Adkins, and Sara Elizabeth Dickinson. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Cincinnati, Ohio. She enjoyed her flowers, reading, and playing cards. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery on Stamper Ridge.
