Donna Joyce Mabry Smedley, age 50, of Open Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, was born December 29, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, and passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010, at her residence. Donna is survived by her father, Omer A. Mabry and his wife Guyan Sloan Mabry of Morehead, Kentucky; her mother, Maxine Adkins Scott of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Judy Diane Winkle and husband Terry and Shawna Mabry Blundell and husband Shane, all of Morehead, Kentucky; three brothers, Wayne Mabry of Clearfield, Kentucky, Thomas Allen Mabry of Morehead, Kentucky, and Marvin Mabry of Johnson County, Kentucky; seven nieces and nephews; and three great nieces and nephews. Donna was a former employee of Cowden Mfg. Company and Case-s in Olive Hill, Kentucky, and loved crocheting and singing hymns. She was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Nickell Cemetery on KY 173. Pallbearers will be Chris Petit, Shane Blundell, Derrick Rivers, Wayne Mabry, Allen Mabry, and Marvin Mabry.
