Donna Gail Puckett-Blake, age 51, of Union City, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born July 12, 1964, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Hershal D. 'Tony' Puckett of Union City, Indiana, and the late Janet Gail Wilson Puckett, who passed away April 9, 2012. In addition to her father, Donna is survived by the love of her life since 2007, Harry Blake, Jr.; grandparents, Mildred Hoskinson Nelson of Muncie, Indiana, and Janice Parker of Morehead; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other devoted family members, as well as her beloved pets, Ronna and Lacey. A lifelong resident of Union City, Indiana, Donna graduated from Union City Community High School in 1982. Through the years, she worked as a security guard, cashier, secretary, and telephone solicitor; but her favorite job was caring for and loving other people's children as a 'Day Mom,' (babysitter), a job she held off and on for 25+ years. She enjoyed family, taking pictures, crafts, and reading. Donna was a Christian and faithful servant of the Lord. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Lansford May officiating. Burial will be in the May Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John May, John May II, James May II, Gardner May, Dewayne May, Joe Parker, Joshua Parker, and Jeff Parker.
