Donna Kay Horn, age 63, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.

Born March 23, 1959, in Prestonsburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald "Dootney" Horn and Patricia Combs Horn.

She is survived by her brother Greg L. Horn and his wife Charlene; one daughter, Patricia Blanton and her husband Bill; two grandchildren, Troy McKenzie and his wife Erin and Brittney McKenzie and her significant other D.J.; and four great grandchildren, Athena Dawn May McKenzie, Persephone Meredith Shadow McKenzie, Ares Jack Odin McKenzie, and Madelyn MacKenzie Estes.

Donna attended Prestonsburg high-school and was currently a service rider for Kentucky Service Parks and Equipment.  She at one timed owned a grocery store and rental properties. Later in life she moved to Carlisle and lived near a life long friend Margaret or Hey Woman as the kids called her.

She could always be found at auctions and yard sales looking for her treasures as she called them.

Donna's most cherished moments involved her love of family. She always took care of anyone who needed it and would be there for anyone. She loved her family very much and made sure everyone stayed close. Donna was very loved and will be very missed.

The family has respectfully declined to have a funeral to honor Donna's wishes.
