Donald Wilson, age 69, of Mushroom Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011, at his residence. He was born April 26, 1942, in Carter County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Jack and Cordie Newman Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Madeline Wilson Easton, on May 25, 2007. Donald is survived by his wife, Dixie Cline Wilson; one son, Troy Wilson and wife Julie of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and four grandchildren, Alicia Wilson, Jody Easton, Mica Easton, and Matthew Wilson. Other survivors include one brother, Ernie Wilson of Morehead, Kentucky; five sisters, Corene Wilson, Claris Wilson, and Sharon Wilson, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Jude Cooper and Wilma Jean Couchman, both of Marion, Indiana.Donald was a former employee of the Hitchens Brickyard. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery on Mushroom Road in Carter County, Kentucky.Pallbearers will be Brad Vanlandingham, Mike Easton, Jimmy Underwood, Teddy Wilson, and Jackie Wilson.
