Donald Ray Moore, age 63, of Tripplett Creek, Morehead, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, at his residence.

Born April 17 1957, in Morehead, he was the son of the late Willis and Lillie Crose Moore.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda M. Perry Moore, who passed away January 16, 2017, and one brother, Gary Lee Moore.

He is survived by one son, Dustin Moore of Morehead; two daughters, Ashley Moore of Perry County and Brandy Hogge of Aberdeen, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Emma Moore, Braxton Sparks, and Hunter Emmons.

Other survivors include three brothers, Larry Moore (Jeanette) of Bloomington, Illinois,  Billy Moore of Houghton, Michigan, and Phillip Moore (Jennifer) of Morehead; three sisters, Brenda Crim (Tim) of Winchester, Linda Mason (Dean) of Wilmington, Ohio, Pam Sparks (Lundy) of Orange Beach, Alabama; a sister-in-law, Jenny Moore of Morehead; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

He had been an employee of Local Sanitation, Waste Management, and Veolia Environmental Services. Donald enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He will long be remembered and greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.

COVID-19 restrictions as set forth by the state will be observed.
