Donald Edward Griffin, age 69, of Brown Ridge, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at his residence.

Born July 30, 1953, at Stanford in Lincoln County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Edward Griffin and Martie Agnes Polston Griffin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Edward Griffin, and two sisters, Bonnie Thaxton and Patricia Reams.

Donald is survived by his wife, Deborah Hale Martin Griffin; two sons, Michael Griffin and Shawn Moreland, and one daughter, Rebecca Griffin Blythe, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; and one brother, Randall Griffin of Indianapolis, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a special niece, Renee Stinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Vietnam War, a former truck driver, and a member of Morehead American Legion Post 126.  He loved his family, living in the country, fishing, and anything related to Cave Run Lake--his second home.  Donald's sarcastic sense of humor was always present and a joy to everyone.  He will be greatly missed.
