Donald Blythe, age 69, of Leisure Lane, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born July 2, 1939, in Ironton, Ohio, and was the son of the late Andrew and Amelia Hughes Blythe. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Mosier Blythe. Survivors include one son, Donald Wade Blythe of Ashland, Kentucky; one daughter, Amelia Ann Blythe of Worthington, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Journey Ann Blythe, of Worthington, Kentucky; two brothers, Andrew J. Blythe of Sabina, Ohio and Smitty Lee Hughes of Russells Point, Ohio; and two sisters, Goldie White of Morehead, Kentucky, and Ruby Howell of Wellston, Ohio. Mr. Blythe was a former employee of C & H Leather Company in Ashland, Kentucky, and attended Charity Free Will Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Charity Free Will Baptist Church, 7075 KY 519, Morehead, Kentucky, with the Rev. Robert Kidd officiating.
