Dolly Frances Reed, age 66, of Dark Hollow Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at the Life Care Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born September 5, 1942, in Menifee County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Elbert and Ollie Ellen Proffitt Reed. She is survived by two brothers, William H. (Bill) Reed and wife Linda of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Larry Robert Sorrell and wife Sandy of Franklin, Ohio; three nieces, Arlinda Fannin, Georgina Reed, and Robyn Fox; one nephew, John Sorrell; one great niece, Adelina Stevens; and three great nephews, Matthew Fannin, Dakota Stevens, and Dewey Reed, Jr. Dolly attended Morehead State University for four year and retired after 30 years with the General Telephone Company as an operator serving the Elizabethtown, Morehead, and Lexington offices. She enjoyed reading, traveling, watching movies, and was a member of the Elliottville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date in the Ginter Cemetery, Menifee County. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
