Dixie L. Plank Blythe, 91, of Cranston Road, Morehead, KY, received her angel wings on June 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Eva Jane Little and Wendy Clevinger of Morehead, Kentucky, and Tammy (Duke) Baker of Bethel, Ohio, and bonus daughter, Brenda (Eddie) Tweedy of Mulberry, Arkansas. Six grandchildren: Nathan (Mindy) Graham, Missy (Mike) Colgan, Evan Graham, Megan Carpenter, Autumn (Travis) Ward, and Carolin (Tyler) Hodges. Thirteen great-grandchildren: Haleigh, Owen, Carleigh, Kyle, Landon, Piper, Audrey, Bentley, Ava, Winnie, Trigg, Cave and Dixie Tate, along with a host of family and friends including the son she never had, Jackie Plank.

Born April 29, 1935, in Morehead, Kentucky, Dixie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jimmy Blythe, in 2020; parents, Elmer and Cora Plank; five brothers, Guy, Warren, Homer, JD and Ray Plank; and son-in-law, Aubrey Little.

After 37 years of dedicated service, Dixie retired from St. Claire Regional Medical Center, where she worked as a unit secretary.  In retirement, she found joy in baking and quilting, and she will be remembered fondly by the many lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rick Crank officiating.  Burial will follow at the Adams-Plank Cemetery on Cranston Road in Morehead.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Graham, Owen Graham, Evan Graham, Mike Colgan, Bentley Colgan, Jackie Plank, Tyler Hodges, and Travis Ward.  Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Graham, Kyle Graham, Joe Beasley, Graham Stamper, Logan Winburn, and Dr. Ed Scott.

Visitation for Dixie L. Plank Blythe will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
