Dina Trent Stegall

Dina Trent Stegall, 89, of Morehead, passed peacefully from this world into her heavenly home on Friday, September 4, 2026.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty years, Clayton “Sam” Stegall; her parents, Alec and Gracie Slone Trent; and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Stegall-Blevins; beloved son-in-law, Walter “Doc” Blevins; best friend, Evelyn Conn; and niece-in-law, Ida Mae Edwards; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dina was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking (especially making holiday candy), quilting and sewing. Described as “the sweetest” by all she met, her kind and gentle disposition brought comfort to those in her presence. A Christian of many years, she enjoyed attending church services at Elliottville Baptist Church, Brinegar Church of God, and Better Life Church.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 12 noon at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Tim Rhodes officiating. Following the service, Dina will be laid to rest next to her husband in Wyatt Cemetery in Elliott County.

Visitation will be Saturday, one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
