Dexter Crosthwaite Stinson, age 84, of Old Flemingsburg Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born January 31, 1926, in Menifee County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Asa and Mary Johnson Crosthwaite. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry Edward Stinson. Her husband, James Edward -Poss- Stinson, passed away March 9, 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Kimbrell; three grandchildren, Michele Jessee, Jamey Jessee, and Brandon Kimbrell and wife Amy; and three great grandchildren, Dalton Jessee, MaKenna Jessee, and Emily Kimbrell, all of Morehead, Kentucky . Other survivors include one brother, Edward Crosthwaite of Dayton, Ohio, and one sister, Anna Lois Crosthwaite of Morehead, Kentucky. Mrs. Stinson was a retired beautician. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Mantooth officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brandon Kimbrell, Jamey Jessee, Darryl Barker, Dale Carpenter, Sam Cross, and Gabe Brown.
