Dexter Mullins, age 47, of Pokeberry Road, Sadieville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at his residence.
Born August 26, 1972, in Lexington, the son of Linda Blankenship Mullins of Wellington, and the late Burl Mullins. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jaxon Fogle.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Scotty Mullins of Lexington, Jacob Mullins of Stamping Ground, and Shane Hunt of Georgetown; one daughter, Ashley Fogle of Cynthiana; two grandsons, Asher Mullins and Jayce Hunt; and one granddaughter, Riley Rose Fogle.
Also surviving are two brothers, his twin, Chester Mullins of Wellington and Michael Mullins of Georgetown; one sister, Angie Phillips of Georgetown; one half brother, James Mullins of Hickory, North Carolina; former wife, Anna Mullins of Cynthiana; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Dexter was a self-employed contractor and enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He had a big heart, always helping others before himself.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tracy Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Blankenship – Moore Cemetery in Blaze.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
COVID-19 restrictions will be observed.
