Dewey Brickles, age 60, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the Harper's Home for the Aged Nursing Home in Edmonton. He was born February 16, 1956, in Carter County, a son of the late Virgil and Elise Lewis Brickles. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Vangel, Raymond, Gary 'Hank', and Larry Randolph Brickles, and two sisters, Phyllis Wilson and Carolyn McCleese. He is survived by three brothers, Gary Lester of Morehead and Ollie and James 'Troy' Brickles and wife Barbara, all of Olive Hill; four sisters, Geneva Johnson of Wayne, Michigan, Clarice Epps and husband Bob and Justine Brickles, all of Lansing, Michigan, and Nadine Cole and husband Pete of Fleming County, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in Manning Chapel Cemetery in Carter County. Visitation is from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
