Dewell Carter Stegall, age 89, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the Elliott County Nursing & Rehab Center in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Born August 3, 1921, in Elliott County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Wilford and Trien Tollier Stegall. Her husband, Clifton Raymond Stegall, passed away July 26, 2010. She is survived by three sons, Roger Eugene Stegall of Los Angeles, California, John Raymond Stegall of Columbus, Ohio, and Richard Lee Stegall of Lexington, Kentucky; one daughter, Rebecca Stegall Kimmons of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother, Bill Carter, and one sister, Ernie Foster, both of California. Mrs. Stegall was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling with her husband.
