Dewayne Allen Brown, age 48, of Jones Ridge, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born September 20, 1961, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he is the son of Carl E. Brown of Clearfield, Kentucky, and the late Shirley Crawford Brown Walton, who passed away August 4, 2008. In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, Alvin Brown of Clearfield, Kentucky; two daughters, Miranda Butler and Joanie Brown, both of Morehead, Kentucky; three brothers, James E. Brown and wife Pearl of Clearfield, Kentucky, Timothy L. Brown of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Donald L. Brown of LaGrange, Kentucky; and three sisters, Tammy J. Jennings and husband David of Clearfield, Kentucky, Anna M. Plummer and husband Chris of Maysville, Kentucky, and Linda G. Parker of Morehead, Kentucky. The family extends special thanks and appreciation to St. Claire Home Health and nurses Fonda Hitch and Tayla -Tater- Deitriech. Dewayne was a former sawmill employee. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Cecil Ison officiating. Burial will follow in McClain-Arnold Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alvin Brown, Chris Plummer, Timmy Brown, David Jennings, James Brown, and William Brown.
