Dennis Lee Wilson, age 42, of Matthews Branch, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Born April 18, 1968, he is the son of Dennis Gale and Patricia Young Wilson of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Dennis is also survived by his wife, Lisa May Wilson, whom he wed August 8, 1992, and their 14-year-old daughter, Lindsey Renee Wilson, who was born December 26, 1996. Additional survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Angie and Dale Estep and Sheila and Rocky Mason, all of Morehead, Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Vernon and Rosella May of Morehead; other family and numerous friends. Dennis loved his daily construction work with his Dad and spending special times with family. He was a huge UK basketball fan and enjoyed NASCAR, camping (where he and his brother-in-law Roger Utterback were undefeated cornhole champions), cars, and man-s best friend, Harley, his Shih Tzu. The highlight of his life, however, was his daughter, whom he adored. One of his greatest pleasures was supporting Lindsey in all her school activities, never missing an event. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Fraley officiating. Burial will follow in the May Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cliff Wilson, Craig Wilson, Randy Cox, Jack McDaniel, Daniel Stevens, and Brownie Stamper.
