Delphine T. Glinski Welchert, age 71, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Life Care Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born July 24, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Sabiszak Glinski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Welchert, who passed away on April 26, 1995. She is survived by one son, Lawrence Welchert of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; one daughter, Jennifer Magiera of Greer, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Ryan Magiera, Rebecca Magiera, and Sarah Herr; and one great granddaughter. Also surviving are three brothers, Lawrence Glinski of St. John, Indiana, Frank Glinski of Chicago, Illinois, and Bobby Glinski of Crown Point, Indiana; one sister, Linda Kotara of New Lenox, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Welchert was a self-employed seamstress and homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. There will be no visitation or funeral.
