Delores Minnie Carol Dyer Drake, age 75, of Magnolia, Delaware, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Delaware. Born December 22, 1937, in Oak Hill, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Greer and Dorothy Beatrice Humphries Dyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two brothers, Richard and Vernon Dyer; stepfather Pearl Roth; and stepbrother, Curt Roth. Her husband, Roy E. Drake, passed away on February 13, 2001. Delores is survived by one daughter, Kathy Marie Zachariah and husband John of Magnolia, Delaware; one son, Eugene Edward Drake and wife Penny of Plymouth, Ohio; four grandchildren, Tiffany Gibson, Jacob Zachariah, Shawn Drake, and Jennifer Zachariah; and seven great grandchildren; Madison Gibson, Katie Gibson, Cassie Drake, Kennedi Gibson, Preston Carter Tripp-Zachariah, Skie Drake and Starr Drake. Also surviving are two sisters, Carmnella Hall-Cook of Shelby, Ohio, and Christine Drake of Wallingford, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ashley Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Drake Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
