Delmar Lee Reynolds, age 82, of Farmers, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008, at his residence. He was born May 26, 1926, in New Castle, Indiana, and was the son of the late Espie and Vivian Hayes Reynolds. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Reynolds. Delmar-s wife, Ressa Irene Kissick Reynolds, passed away on July 2, 1989, and a son, Barry Lee Reynolds, on August 15, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Lori Arnett and husband Paul of Farmers, Kentucky, and Marsha Lee and husband Richard of Louisville, Kentucky; two brothers, Dale Eugene Reynolds of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Ed Reynolds of Muses Mill, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Tracy Donathan, Angela Utterback, Kyle Arnett, Kevin Utterback, Luke Arnett, and Ressa Arnett; and seven great grandchildren. Delmar served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired master plumber. He was an employee of Perks for 25 years and a former instructor with the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program (E.K.C.E.P.). He was an avid woodcrafter and artist. His paintings had been exhibited at the Kentucky Folk Art Center. Delmar also enjoyed flowers and talking about Christ. He was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Andy Lands officiating. Burial will follow in the Carey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Reynolds, Frank Reynolds, Phillip Reynolds, Dale Reynolds, Russell Reynolds, Johnny Bowling, Kyle Arnett, and Luke Arnett.
