Delmar Adrian Lewis, age 77, of Ramey Ridge Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, at his residence. He was born May 26, 1936, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Frank H. and Christine Utterback Lewis. Mr. Lewis is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Debbie Lewis and Mark and Brenda Lewis, all of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Delora Coonley of Douglasville, Georgia, and Mary Hood of Morehead, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jacob Lewis, Dalton Lewis, and Matthew Lewis, and the mother of his children, Virgie Boyd Lewis of Morehead, Kentucky. Mr. Lewis was a retired construction worker for Local 1445 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, and was a member of the Farmers Church of God. He enjoyed farming, sitting on his front porch, and most of all, he was very proud of his sons and grandsons. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel with Bishop Greg Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Jacob Lewis, Dennis Black, David Black, Matthew Lewis, Jeff Buckler, and Rufus Williams. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
