Deborah Jo "Debbie" Hug Price

Deborah Jo “Debbie” Hug Price, age 57, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born March 21, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, she was a daughter of the late Gregory James Hug and Diane Lee Carlson Hug.

Debbie is survived by her two children, Tyler Price (Kara) of Bardstown, Kentucky, and Katie Price (Matthew Tackett) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; seven beloved grandchildren, Olivia Danielle Beach, Kyle Preston Conn, Jaxon Ryan Price, Nora Rose Price, Maci Brooke Blevins, Cooper Thomas-James Tackett, and Kenyon Michael Tackett; one brother, Michael Hug; five sisters, Kristine Kelly, Laura Crawford, Vicki Johnson, Julie Hilderbrandt, and Elizabeth Salaz; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Debbie was a homemaker and a graduate of Adams City High School in Denver, Colorado. She enjoyed painting and reading and, when she was able, loved camping and taking walks. She had a green thumb and found joy in gardening. Above all, she loved being a grandmother and her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.

Debbie will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the special memories she leaves behind. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service for Debbie will be held at a later date.
