David Owens Thomas II, age 37, of Reffitt Road, Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009. He was born April 23, 1972, in Clark County, Kentucky, and is the son of David Owens Thomas of Clay City, Kentucky, and Judy Carroll Warner of Jeffersonville, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Bays Thomas of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; one daughter, Dana Marie Thomas of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; one stepson, Zackry Kash Williams of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; one brother, Kevin Wayne (Becky) Carroll of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; two sisters, Kimberly Renee Thomas and Tasha Thomas of Clay City, Kentucky; stepmother, Lula Thomas of Clay City, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one stepson, David Lee -Bruiser- Prater, Jr. David was employed as a mechanic at Wildcat Service Center in Mt. Sterling. He attended Living Water Community Church. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Living Water Community Church with Grant Cannoy officiating. Burial will follow in the McGuire Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Living Water Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
