David John Lawson, age 65, of Kimberly Lane, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Born July 10, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late William O. Lawson and Mildred Nieberding Lawson. Davie is survived by his wife, Judy Adams Lawson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Renee Lawson of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Chad and Tonia Lawson of Raeford, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and three stepchildren, Dean Ingram, Jodi Lawson, and Tony Ingram. Other survivors include two brothers and two sisters, Pat Lawson, Frank Lawson, Carol Lawson, and Ruth Lawson, all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dave, a former sales representative for B & G Wil-Son Distributing in Fairfield, Ohio, enjoyed playing high school and college basketball and later in life watching U.K. and Ohio State basketball. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Parr and Pastor H. G. Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ezel Cemetery in Morgan County, Kentucky. Pallbearers: Steve Lawson, Dean Ingram, Tony Ingram, Chad Lawson, Timothy Pittman, and Bill Barnes.
