David Wayne Eldridge, age 68, of Mt. Vernon Road, Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 6, 1955, in Isonville, a son of the late John Jay Eldridge and Grovie Fannin Eldridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Rolla Lowell Eldridge, Burchelle "Bird" Eldridge, Charlie Junior Eldridge, Tommy Eldridge, and Glen Dale Eldridge, and one sister, Nola Ann Halsey.
He is survived by one son, David Eldridge (Kim) of Vanceburg; three daughters, Crystal Eldridge Brown (Scott) of Morehead, Kim Eldridge Monroe (Todd) of Georgetown, and Halley Eldridge of Lexington; six grandchildren, Autumn Elliott (Austin), Kalle Bryce Leet (Garrett), Hayden Eldridge, Hunter Eldridge, Ethan Brown, and Morgan Monroe; three great grandsons, Easton Elliott, Hudson Elliott, and Kasen Leet.
Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Eldridge (Phyllis) of West Liberty and Ricky Eldridge (Terri) of Hillsboro; four sisters, Mary Halsey of Mt. Sterling, Myrtle Gillium of Hillsboro, Martha Jones-Stubbs (Harlan) of Flemingsburg, and Patty Ratliff of Morehead; long time companion, Joyce Richmond of Wallingford; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family and friends.
David was a union pipefitter for Local 521 and was a former camp host for Fox Valley Lake and Campground. He especially loved being on the farm and enjoyed the outdoors, horses, and time spent with family and friends. David will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
All are invited for visitation on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, and his Celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 804 Payton Ridge Road, West Liberty, KY 41472
