Obituary

David Isaac Dean, age 50, of Atlantic Avenue, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born May 18, 1965, in Nashville, Tennessee, David was the son of the late Roger Earl and Juanita Mabe Dean. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Marabel O'Connor Dean, and maternal grandparents, Noah and Minnie Harmon Mabe. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Shonna Mason Dean, whom he married October 14, 2000; one sister, Tonya (Trace) Dutra of Hudsonville, Michigan; mother-in-law, Bonnie Whisman Mason of Morehead; one sister-in-law, Lucinda Mabry of Morehead; two brothers-in-law, Rocky (Sheila) Mason and Jamie (Melody) Mason, all of Morehead; seven nephews, Dustin Oliver, Austin Oliver, Brandon Mason, Daniel Stevens, Dakota Mason, Ryan Jones, and Jacob Ginter; and three nieces, Patricia Conley, Brittany Jones, and Brianna Mabry. David was a former employee of Family Dollar Distribution Center and enjoyed repairing computers and working in his yard. He loved life, his family, friends, and serving the Lord. David was a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church in Salt Lick. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jayson Minix officiating. Burial will follow in Whisman Cemetery. His nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, March 25, 2016, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel Interment: Whisman Cemetery
