Danny David -Dee- Dailey, Sr., age 59, of Mudsock Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. He was born December 14, 1951, in Fleming County, Kentucky, son of the late Robert Russell and Wilma Olive Ramey Dailey. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Thomas Dailey, and one granddaughter, Jarrah Dailey. Dee is survived by three sons, Danny David Dailey, Jr., Danny Troy and Stephanie Dailey, and James David -Jimmy- and Alice Dailey, all of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; one daughter, Kimberly Kay and Shannon Yerian of Morgan County, Kentucky; and seven grandchildren, Alexis Dailey, Justin Dailey, Brianna Ferguson, Serena Taylor, Connor Fraley, Dustin Dailey, and Hunter Dailey. Other survivors include two brothers, Warren Robert -Bobby- Dailey of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and John Dennis -Johnny- Dailey of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Rosemary Ishmael of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Roberta Evonne Vice of Fleming County, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends. Dee was a lifelong farmer, a former employee of Colliver Furniture, and for the last few years worked with Ervin Schlabach. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Gerald Saunders and Brother Tommy Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bradley, Billy Hart, Michael Bradley, Jeffrey Dailey, Shannon Yerian, Kenny Hickerson, David Ramey, and Ervin Schlabach. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Kentucky. Visitation: Tuesday, October 11, 2011, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. Interment: Fleming County Cemetery
