David Wayne Caudill, age 69, of Poplar Lane, Morehead, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. Born July 27, 1948, at Farmers, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Clinton Caudill and Katherine Swimm. Following the passing of his mother when he was about a year old, David was reared by his grandmother, Minnie Swimm, whom he called "Mommy." He was also preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Debra Gail Morgan Caudill, who passed away July 9, 2006. He is survived by his children: Kelly Wills of Ellis Grove, Illinois, and her children Jessica and Debra; Cassandra Spencer of Morehead and her children, Kyla, Selina, Andrea, Paul, and Ryleigh; Edward Caudill of Mt. Sterling and his children, Katrina, Maxwell, and Blake; and Rebecca Fannin of Morehead and her children, David, Katie, and Charlie. He is also survived by extended family, Linda Williams and family and Hettie Barnett and family, and five great grandchildren. David was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting with his friends. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Eldridge Cemetery on Bull Fork Road, Morehead. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
