Darrell Keith Black, age 39, of Ore Mines Road, Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born April 30, 1969, in Covington, Kentucky, Keith is the son of Delphia Black Holbrook of Owingsville, Kentucky, and the late Wendell Williams, and stepson of Ernie Holbrook of Clearfield, Kentucky. In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by two sons, Brandon Joshua Black and Robert Keith Black, both of Taylorsville, Utah; one brother, Kevin Lee Howard of Hickman, Kentucky; one sister, Lisa Himes of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; one special niece, Whittlee Himes; and three nephews, Ricky, David, and Willie Crawford. Keith was a former employee of Sealmaster. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Cemetery on Ramey Ridge Road. Pallbearers will be Ricky Crawford, David Crawford, Tony Curtis, Brandon Curtis, Jimmy Fraley, Jerry Black, and Troy Hurst.
