Darrell David Gulley, age 65, of Fleming County, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
He was born August 21, 1956, in Maysville, a son of the late Henry Thomas "Tommy" Gulley and Dorothy Story Gulley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Thomas Gulley and Kyle Douglas Gulley.
Darrell also known as "D.D." was a long-time resident of Fleming County. He served honorably in the United States Army for 7 years serving overseas stationed in Germany as part of the Artillery Division as a Cannon Crewmember earning the Marksman (Rifle) Badge. After returning from the Army, he was a self-employed construction laborer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and was an avid football fan (Cleveland Browns). He was very loved and will be missed immensely.
Darrell leaves behind a daughter, Misty (Scott) Schneider of St. Charles, Missouri, three grandchildren, Reagan, Ben, and Luke Schneider; seven brothers and sisters, Johnny Lewis (Bonnie) Gulley of Elizaville, Jerry Michael (Donna) Gulley of Georgetown, Rickey Allen (Joyce) Gulley of Lakeland, Florida, Keven Newell (Christine) Gulley of Little Hocking, Ohio, Maleia Carol (George) Kinder of Nicholasville, Eric Keith Gulley of Louisville, and Donna Lynn Harris of Lyndon; 18 nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
