Danny Hamilton, age 57, of Bullfork Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born March 2, 1961, in Pikeville, he is the son of Clifford and Minnie Belle Bartley Hamilton of Morehead. Danny was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Ocie May Thacker Hamilton, who passed away February 19, 2016, and one sister, Mamie Carroll. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Danny Dwayne Hamilton; one daughter, Deanna Sue Hamilton Cundiff; one brother, Marvin Hamilton; one sister, Janice Sue Hamilton, all of Morehead; two grandchildren, Tony Clayburn Cundiff II and Haley Marie Cundiff; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and extended family members. Danny was a maintenance technician at Family Dollar Distribution Center in Morehead for 15 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, and spending time with his family. Danny was a loving father, grandfather, and husband. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell and Elder Johnny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Markwell Cemetery on Bullfork Road. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5 p. m. to 9 p. m.
