Dalphene Sparkman Spencer, age 86, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington.

Born December 24, 1934, in Floyd County, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Julie Bentley Sparkman.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Compton and Ruby Tackett.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, J. C. Spencer; three daughters, Cheryl (Rusty) Lindon of West Liberty, Sharlene (Danny) Cook of Morehead, and Sharon Kay Baugus of Farmers; one son, Jeffrey (Teena) Spencer of West Liberty; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Dalphene was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  She enjoyed quilting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating.  Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Tommy Potter, Ryan Rowe, Logan Spencer, Jason Cook, Tanner Bowman, Dwayne Morris, and Katlin Haney.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
