Obituary

Dallas Lee Fraley, age 74, of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. He was born February 8, 1941, in Fleming County, a son of the late John T. and Edith Rigdon Fraley. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy Stamm Fraley, whom he married February 9, 1963; four children, Kimberly Taylor of Lexington, Jeff Fraley of Morehead, Kelly Fannin of Morehead, and Nathan Fraley and wife Kelly of Ft. Thomas; one brother, Denzil Fraley of Morehead; 11 grandchildren: Ryan Hilger; Emily Sparks; Clay Esham; Arley Avery; Joshua and Caleb Fannin; Nick Turner; Abby, Camryn, Caden, and Emerson Fraley; and 5 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members, co-workers, and friends. Dallas retired from Harold White Lumber Company after 41 years of service. Well known for his friendly personality and smile, Dallas never met a stranger. He was an avid fan of MSU and UK sports and enjoyed playing baseball and softball. A member of the Rock Fork Christian Church, Dallas loved his church family and was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Butch Kelsey, Brother Charley Hamm, and Brother Donald Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Fraley Family Cemetery. Pallbearers: Denzil Fraley, Chris Rowley, Ryan Hilger, Clay Esham, Joshua Fannin, Caleb Fannin, Caden Fraley, and Nick Turner Visitation is after 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
