Daisy Marie Ball Blankenship, age 88, of Fairborn, Ohio, formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at the Wright Nursing and Rehab Center in Fairborn, Ohio. Born April 8, 1922, in Elliott County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Wes and Anna Jarrells Ball. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence Ball, Floyd Ball, Oreacle Ball, and Beecher Ball, and one sister, Mae Browning. Mrs. Blankenship is survived by one sister, Florence Geneva Neil of Fairborn, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God in Fairborn, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Monday, December 27, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tracy Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
