Cynthia Lynn Wallace Burke, age 54, of Mary-s Avenue, Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born August 15, 1956, in Hamilton, Ohio, she is the daughter of Sylvon and Frances Fisher Wallace of Morehead, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, Cindy is survived by her husband of 23 years, Leonard N. Burke; two children, Dwayne McKinney and wife Lorri of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Sheila Howard and husband Ryan of Morehead, Kentucky; two stepchildren, Leonard Burke, Jr., and wife Rebecca of Wallingford, Kentucky; and Emily Burke Miller and husband Mark of Wallingford, Kentucky; and 12 grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, Jeff Wallace, Greg Wallace, Susan McKinney, Sandra Muse and Michelle Hunt, all of Morehead, Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Stephanie Wallace. Cindy was a homemaker, a graduate of Tri-State Beauty Academy, and a beautician. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. H. G. Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Kentucky.
