Obituary

Curtis Edward Caudill, age 79, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born August 16, 1933, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Cecil and Clara Shields Caudill. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Renae Tackett; eight brothers, David, Luther, Don, Ottis, Clarence, Greenberry, Hubert, and Frank Caudill; and one sister, Lena Roberts. Curt is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eveline M. Little Caudill, whom he married November 21, 1959; five children, Eugene 'Gene' Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky, Patty Caudill and Homer Eddington, Tollesboro, Kentucky, Essie Mae Tackett, Morehead, Kentucky, Sammy (Susie) Caudill of Wallingford, Kentucky, Diane (Rick) Wolfenbarger, Morehead, Kentucky; a stepson, Rick (Connie) Little of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Myrtle Butler of Morehead, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Curt was a retired owner and operator of Caudill-s Junk Yard and a former logger and farmer for a number of years. Curt enjoyed ginsenging, fishing, coon hunting, playing cards, and going to casinos. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Rev. Cecil Ison and Brother Butch Kelsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Little and Caudill Cemetery on Cranston Road. Pallbearers: Danial Tackett, Billy Caudill, Jake Vice, Jeremy Workman, Rick Wolfenbarger, and Robbie Harris. Honorary Pallbearers: Fred Blanton, Danny Tackett, Eddie Dehart, Terry Middleton, and Larry Littleton. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky. Visitation: Friday, September 7, 2012, after 3 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment: Little and Caudill Cemetery, Cranston Road
