Connie Lea Gambill Smedley, age 60, of Mellwood Lane, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at her residence after an extended illness.

Born June 21, 1964, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Bobby Gambill and Betty Lucille Hamilton Gambill.

Connie is survived by two daughters, Keri Dehart (Anthony Moore) of Morehead and Krista Perkins (Jeremy) of Clearfield; five grandchildren, Taylor, Bella, Kamiron, David, and Raelynne; and one great grandson, Ryker.

Also surviving are three sisters, Pamela Bang (Charlie) of Acton, California, Kimberly Russell (Robert) of Morehead, and Karen Cline of Rineyville; one brother, Mark Gambill of Clearfield; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Connie was homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed playing Bingo, baking, listening to music, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.  A memorial service will be held immediately following at 3 p.m.  with Pastor Mark Caldwell officiating.
