Clyde Kidd, age 72, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011, at his residence. Born November 10, 1938, in Morgan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Luke and Ethel Wilder Kidd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Estill, Gene, Emory and Ellis Kidd, and two step-brothers, Clayton and William Goodman. Clyde is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Sprow Kline Kidd, whom he married September 18, 1993; one son, James Clyde Kidd of Lima, Ohio; one daughter, Jenny Nelson and husband Rick of Bryan, Ohio; one stepson, Greg Kline and wife Sharon of Sherwood, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Jody Taylor and husband Jodi of Pensacola, Florida, and Jamie Doubleday and husband Rodney of Sherwood, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Claude Kidd of Wauseon, Ohio, and Roger Kidd of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Jewell Swartz of Morehead, Kentucky, and Della Johnson of Ypsilanti, Michigan; two step- sisters, Marie Dehart of Morehead, Kentucky, and Juanita Slusher of Chicago, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. Clyde was a former truck driver for Chambers Trucking Company in Lima, Ohio, and enjoyed riding, showing, and breaking horses. He attended the East End Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Ray Glover, Brother Jerry Mashino, and the Rev. Herbert D. Lewis officiating. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at the Kidd Family Cemetery in Blairs Mill, Kentucky. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
