Clyde "Tommy" Davis, Jr., age 66, of Rocky Branch Road, Jeffersonville, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born June 23, 1952, in Grundy, Virginia, he was a son of the late Clyde and Avie Shortridge Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Davis Skaggs and Ethel Davis Henderson. Tommy is survived by his wife, Pam Notestine Davis; two sons, Jamie Davis and wife Marie and Robbie Davis and wife Cristy; one daughter, Tabitha Crowe, all of Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren, Austin, Ashley, and Jansen Davis, Jeremiah and Peyton Barber, Courtnee Archer, and Dalton and Taylor Crowe; and two great grandchildren, Isaac Russell and Lyon Archer. Other survivors include five brothers, David James Davis of Mt. Sterling, Ernest Dean Davis of Means, Gabriel Steven Davis of Jeffersonville, William Clarence Davis of Frenchburg, and Daniel Lee Davis of Salt Lick; two sisters, Marsha Davis Williams of Jeffersonville and Subbie Davis Wilder of Owingsville; and several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Tommy was currently a supervisor for Bizzack Construction in Lexington and was a member of John Saw Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the John Saw Pentecostal Church, 625 Strange Road, in Jeffersonville with Brother Sammy Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Pallbearers: Jared Ferguson, Caleb Henderson, Jimmy Smallwood, Jimmy Anderson, Randy Webb, and John Reffitt. Honorary pallbearers: Carl McGuire, Jr., Terry Lawson, Jason Lawson, and Mike Notestine. Visitation for Tommy Davis is Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jeffersonville Assembly of God, 7220 Main St., Jeffersonville, KY 40337.
