Clyda Padgett, age 63, of Moores Flat Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at her residence.

Born September 28, 1960, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Delmer L. Padgett and Flora Rosetta Skeens Padgett.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Delmer "Arvis" Padgett and Sarge, her faithful German Shepherd.

Clyda is survived by several cousins; a special friend, Sue Nelson of Cambridge, Ohio; and many other friends.

She was a homemaker and former employee at Express Mart and several factories in Morehead.  Clyda enjoyed bird watching and loved her friends. A friendly person, Clyda always had time to listen to her family, co-workers and friends. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be conducted 12 noon Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Tri-County Animal Shelter, 2450 KY Hwy 519, Clearfield, KY  40313.
