Clifton R. -Bub- Jent, age 27, of Fraley Cemetery Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. His longtime companion and fianc-e, Miranda Sue Johnson, also passed away from injuries sustained in the same accident. Clifton was born August 13, 1979, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Clifford Jent of Morehead, Kentucky, and Mary Tamala -Tammy- Kissinger Owens and her husband, Phillip Alan Owens, of Morehead, Kentucky. He is also survived by one brother, Joshua Lee Jent, of Morehead, Kentucky; one niece, Brianna Dawn Jent; one nephew, Cameron Lee Jent; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He attended Rowan County Senior High School and was an employee of Caskey Construction. A joint funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery. Joshua Lee Jent, Jonathan Kissinger, Seth Horton, David Stafford, Jr., David Stafford, Sr., Jody Jent, Toby Jent, and Ronnie Kissinger will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, and anytime Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
