Clifford Ray Jent, age 56, of Windsor Road, Morehead, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014, at his residence. He was born January 23, 1958, in Rowan County, a son of Bessie Jewell Stafford Jent of Morehead and William Ervin Jent, who passed away February 6, 2013. Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by one son, Clifton Jent on July 1, 2007. In addition to his mother, Clifford is survived by one son, Joshua Jent; one step daughter, Desiree Withrow; one granddaughter, Brianna Dawn Jent; one grandson, Cameron Lee Jent, and companion, Anita Cole, all of Morehead. He is also survived by three brothers, Jackie Dewayne Jent and wife Janie, Robert Lee Jent and wife Pam, and Phillip Gene Jent, all of Morehead; four sisters, Linda Reed and husband Bill of Clearfield, Kay Lewis Rosser and husband Mike of Flemingsburg, Brenda Stanley of Morehead, and Cathy Pennington of Sandy Hook; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives; and friends. Clifford was a retired truck driver for Ken-Mor Stone and enjoyed hunting, racing cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Willie Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow in the Jent Cemetery on Cold Springs Hollow Road. Pallbearers will be Bill Reed, Robert Jent, Joshua Jent, David Stafford, Jackie Jent, and Harold Stafford. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
