Cleo Jones, age 73, of Jones Ridge, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. Born September 15, 1942, in Rowan County, he was a son of Millard and Lola Gregory Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eugene 'Blue' Jones in 2009 and infant brother Ronald Jones in 1944; one sister, Bertha Jones Wallace in 2007; and his wife, Leona Faye Wallace Jones on January 9, 2013. Cleo is survived by two brothers, Clarence Jones and his wife Brenda and Glenn Jones, all of Clearfield; one sister, Letha Cox of Morehead; nieces and nephews, extended family; everyone at the Life Care Center, and friends. Cleo retired from The Shelby Company in Shelby, Ohio, after 22 years of services. He was family oriented and enjoyed the outdoors, all of nature, and animals. He was a Christian and member of Slab Camp Christian Church. Cleo will be sadly missed by all who loved him. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. Lewis and Brother Carlos Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery.
