Obituary

Clasie Perry Moore, age 96, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at her residence. Born November 14, 1915, in Morgan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Ulysses Grant and Betty Brown Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Lillie Sexton, Hattie Lewis, Mattie Balogh, and Artie Stamper, and five brothers, Jess, Howard, Harlen, Leslie, and Forest Perry. Clasie-s husband of 62 years, Virgil Ray Moore, passed away April 2, 1995. Also, three sons preceded her in death, William Moore in 1939, Harold Gene Moore in 1991, and Delmar Moore in 2004. Mrs. Moore is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ivan Jennings of Morehead, Kentucky; three sons and daughters-in-law, Garry and Jewell Moore, Jack and Helen Moore, and Larry and Joann Moore, all of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters-in-law, Jackie Moore of Ft. White, Florida, and Lois Moore of Danville, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; a host of great and great-great grandchildren; and special friends, Ruby Moore, Pat Smith, and Lyndon Perry. Mrs. Moore retired from St. Claire Regional Medical Center and was a homemaker. She always enjoyed quilting, traveling, and working all kinds of puzzles. She was of the Church of God faith. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Day Cemetery at Blairs Mill, Kentucky. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead, Kentucky. Visitation: Thursday, June 7, 2012, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Friday, June 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment: Day Cemetery, Blairs Mill, KY
