Clara L. Tackett Moore, age 78, of Rawcel Heights, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born December 6, 1928, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Jack and Nannie Brown Tackett. Her husband, Jack Eugene Moore, preceded her in death on June 14, 2003. Mrs. Moore is survived by two sons, William (Jill) Moore and Alan Moore, all of Morehead, Kentucky; four daughters, Sheila (Matthew) Holm of Morehead, Kentucky, Debra Moore of Modesto, California, Robin Moore of Richmond, Virginia, and Jackie Rae (Paul M.) Cooper of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Harold Dean (Joyce) Tackett of Morehead, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Sheila Rae Moore; and 9 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Moore was an apartment manager in Haines City, Florida, for nearly twenty years. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Starcher officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Eric Golden, Brooks Elliott, Brent Cooper, Tony Cooper, Matthew Holm, and Charles Moertle. Honorary pallbearers will be Morehead-Rowan County EMS and Morehead Fire Department personnel.
