Clara Lewis, age 84, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Georgetown Community Hospital. Born November 27, 1932, in Mansfield, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Laef and Ivory Perry Lewis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Lewis; one brother, Raymond Lewis, and two sisters, Bernice Blankenship and Audrey Hicks. She is survived by one son, Danny Ray Lewis of Georgetown; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a special niece, Linda Mullins. She also leaves behind extended family and friends. Clara was a homemaker, an employee of the Holiday Inn in Lexington for 16 years, and enjoyed puzzle books, Solitaire, and walking. She especially loved spending time with her family and Callie, her cat. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Greg Crouch officiating. Burial will follow at the Perry Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
